Chinatown Food and Heritage Walk
Fascinated about all the delicious looking foods that the locals are wolfing down? What about all the interesting and sometimes scary looking produce that you see at the wet market? Then come on this tour where you will get to sample yummy local delights (included in tour price), hear about the history of street food in Singapore and also the many ways that local coffee can be served. After filling up your tummy, we will head to the ‘wet’ market to see the wonderful array of fruits and vegetables, interesting ‘live’ produce and learn about different Chinese dried goods and spices.
We then hit the streets to learn about some of the history and heritage of this very historical district.
Finally for lunch (optional, at own expense), we end up at one of Singapore’s most popular hawker centre.
Disposables will be provided for the food tastings but if you rather not use them, please feel free to bring your own plates and cutlery.
