Fort Canning is not just a green oasis in the heart of Singapore but played a very important role in our history. Marvel at the ancient relics dating back to the 14th century, which have been unearthed. Learn about the time when Singapore was known as Temasek and why Fort Canning Hill was the "Forbidden Hill".

Visit the site where Sir Stamford Raffles and his successors made their residences, and remnants of the fortress built in the 1860s. Hear some ‘juicy’ scandals about the famous folks of those days and also enjoy the wonderful Flora and Fauna of this very historical Hill.

In the recent years, Fort Canning has been renovated and now has 9 historical gardens. Learn about the history and landscapes that were known to have existed in the 14th to 20th centuries. You will get to taste and smell some of the wonderful array of herbs and spices along the way!

We will end the tour at Robertson Quay where you can enjoy a meal and drinks before heading home.

Meeting Point: At the left side of the National Museum, where the heritage tree is.

Nearest MRT stations Bras Basah or Dhoby Ghaut - about 5-10mins walk.

Remember to apply insect repellant, a bottle of water and bring your umbrellas just in case. There is no restroom and drinks/snacks stop.

Please note: A minimum number of participants is needed for the tour to proceed. Tour will be cancelled should the required minimum number of participants not be met 2 days before the tour date. Your ticket will be refunded in this case.
