"Straßenkunst kann eine Stadt wie eine Open-Air-Galerie wirken lassen!" Conde Nest Traveler

Not so long ago, painting on walls was considered criminal. Thankfully, we have put those days behind and our streets have come alive with bright colorful murals.

The colorful street scenes and trades of Little India provide the perfect backdrop and inspiration for many of the murals; there are over 40 murals in the thoroughfares and side streets.

Through their vibrant and lively brush strokes, established artists, students, migrant workers and the community in Little India, have shared with us the heritage of this historical district and the contributions made by the early immigrants. Come on the tour to hear about what the various animals, shapes and objects in the murals tell us about the beliefs and culture of the Indian community.

The tour will end near Little India MRT, where you can stay on for lunch (optional).

Meeting point: Little India MRT Exit E - above ground

Please note: A minimum number of participants is needed for the tour to proceed. Tour will be cancelled should the required minimum number of participants not be met 2 days before the tour date. Your ticket will be refunded in this case.

To be on the safe side we as German Association accept only participants who have communicated their status as “vaccinated” to us before the tour. This way, we can have easy and enjoyable tours as you know them. Thanks for your understanding!
