Sadly, Asia is one of the largest ocean polluters in the world. While Singapore has great waste management collection and facilities, many of our neighbouring countries do not. What happens when someone in a village in Indonesia or Malaysia throws their trash in a river to get rid of it? It often ends up in the ocean, and alot of it ends up on Singapore beaches. Depending on the time of year and the different monsoons, trash ends up in different parts of Singapore. At the moment, the beaches at East Coast Park are the worst affected.

Come and join us to help clean up East Coast Park and help make a difference.

Children of all ages are very welcome, but must be supervised.

Meeting point: East Coast Park at the beach near car park F2

Date: 28. October 2023 from 4 - 6pm

We provide everything that is needed for the clean-up. Please only bring enough water to drink and don't forget your sun screen!
